This task was a part of my final capstone design project of my bachelor degree at the University of Alberta where a complete building structural design was required to be completed including structural drawings. The design project was done in teams of 4 to 5. The structural drawings were completed using Autodesk Revit. Requirements on the design were provided by a "client" (industry mentor). The design team chose to work primarily with timber for the gravity load resisting system and concrete for the lateral load resisting system. All connections were also designed using primarily steel. Below are illustrations highlighting the structural drawings produced for this project.
